I have to say that seeing the words "frothing", "giant" and "moth" together freaked me out ever so slightly :) Glad I clicked for the bigger view, though: this is great. Love the wild colour!

Wow! Love the colors. Feels like he's coming right at you. How did you get the circles in the background?

I used a drafting circle template and watercolour. I did not wet the circle first before applying the colour and then kept the edges of the template pressed down tightly with my fingers. I have owned that circle template for about 30 years and it is bizarre to me how many times I have used it. We should post a question for fun: What are your most useful tools?
